Preparations for the XTERRA Eureka Springs – Off-Road Triathlon and Trail Run are in full-swing as we move closer to the race on Saturday, June 13th. After a wetter than usual spring, the Ozarks are green and water is everywhere! Racers can expect several wet creek crossings along with the usual lung-busting climbs and free-wheel’ in downhills that characterize this challenging race course.
The fun and excitement of race-day is not only for the athletes, but for spectators as well. The spectator friendly course provides several opportunities for friends and family to cheer on their loved ones throughout the day. Authentic bluegrass by the local band Cletus Got Shot, free post-race food and an outstanding awards ceremony will wrap things up, before heading into town to experience all that Eureka Springs has to offer.
