Sourwood 5K
2009 marks the 21st running of the Sourwood 5K, a premiere road run/walk held Saturday, August 8, in conjunction with the Sourwood Festival. Also returning this year is the Cheshire Pump & Run where participants earn deductions off their 5K times for doing bench presses pre-race. Both events are held at the Cheshire Fitness Club, 25 Jane Jacob Road in Black Mountain.
